Starbucks details plans to boost traffic

Starbucks is launching a number of new steps to keep people coming back. their getting a new brewing system and a frequent-customer program. their also launching tests of a $1 “short” size of coffee, which was offered with free refills.

why didnt i think of that????

All-cereal restaurant opens in Philadelphia. Sit-down cafe features servers dressed in pajamas.

This is the most ridiculous thing Ive ever seen. two college kids opened the first one on their campus and now their opening tons of them. they sell 30 types of brand name cereral with 36 toppings at $2.95 a bowl. what a crazy idea that just took off.

Breaking News

IHOP Corp. said it has agreed to sell 41 company-operated Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill & Bar restaurants to the brand’s largest franchisee, Apple American Group of San Francisco. Terms were not disclosed.

i don't see applebee's lasting to much longer they've been going down hill for a long time. maybe one of the new franchise owners can make some better food and train a decent server people would go back there.

MOE'S southwest grill is one of the fastest growing concepts out there. they have great TeX-Mex food. there restaurant's seat about 90 people and they also do catering. the average check is $4-$10 a person. which isn't bad considering the amount of good food you get. locations sell beer and wine, and have a wide variety of food to choose from.

good wings

Buffalo Wild Wings announced the opening of its 500th restaurant nationwide, a franchised location in Grand Blanc, Michigan. this is a pretty cool place. they have like 15 different sauces and like 20 different beers on tap. its a great place to hang out with friends.

best Barbecue in town

dreamland BBQ is the best BBQ in atlanta by far. ive been all over town searching for a good place to hang out and enjoy some good southern barbecue. the service is pertty good and you get a great value. Heres a little history.

When the subject of Southern legends comes up, Dreamland should no doubt be mentioned in the same breath as George Wallace, Bear Bryant and Bo Jackson. "Big Daddy" Bishop and crew started outside of Tuscaloosa, took a simple concept (ribs, their signature sauce, and a few pieces of white Sunbeam bread) and, over the years, developed it into something that can be described only as down-home gourmet. While the neophyte Atlanta sibling can't quite boast the character of the original Jerusalem Heights, AL, location, it's not really atmosphere that people hail Dreamland for. Indeed, the ribs truly steal the show. As the saying goes, "Ain't nothing like' em nowhere!"

my great visit at P.F changs china bistro

my friend and i went to P.F changs today for lunch. we go there a lot. the people are always nice and the food is always really good. the server that we had today was the best server ive ever had he was so nice and acted like he truly cared about everything we had to say. we told him we always get the same thing and we wanted to try something new. he said that he had had everything on the menu and told us to sit back and relax and that he was going to order everything. we were kinda nervous but everything was great. he got us two dishes and bought us a thrid dish of veggies which he said was on him. to top it all off the manager came over just to say hi and see how everything was. needless to say P.F changs is a great place to eat. it blows other chinese resturants out of the water and the service is out of this world.
